The ArcAPEX for Agricultural Watershed Modeling Workshop will be offered online via Zoom March 16-18, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. pacific time zone with a 1-hour lunch break. Please be sure to adjust for your time zone

This workshop covers the fundamental principles of the APEX model with hands-on exercises for use in simulating farm/watershed management. The objective of the workshop is to introduce ArcAPEX and an integrated APEX-MODFLOW interface program to new users, offer hands-on exercises, and familiarize users with general procedures of model development, implementation, and evaluation. 

Workshop Objectives

  • Overview of APEX model structure and theory
  • Model development using ArcAPEX
  • Input preparation and database structure
  • Set up a cropping system in APEX
  • Sensitivity analysis and calibration
  • Integration of MODFLOW to APEX

Register for the Workshop

If you reside in a developing country, you are eligible for a discount in workshop fees. See the list of eligible countries, under the LOW-INCOME ECONOMIES or LOWER-MIDDLE INCOME ECONOMIES headings. If you reside in one of these countries, select the appropriate option in the form.

Registration and payment for the workshop is due by March 15, 2022. Registration fees will be refunded, less a $50.00 processing fee, if cancellation or change resulting in a refund is received in writing no later than March 11, 2022.
